Hello there, thank you for taking the time to read this. I recently purchased a new case and, after my fifth build, something unusual occurred. Everything inside the case works normally until it powers on briefly before shutting off. I considered replacing the PSU or motherboard, but then realized that holding the LED button keeps it running for about five minutes. Could this be related to a cable issue?

Here are my specifications:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Z5390
- GPU: 3060 Ti
- CPU: Intel 11700k
- RAM: Old DDR4, previously functioning well
I've tried the standard CMOS reset and swapping RAM slots so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

does the system start and stop accurately after shorting the power pins on the motherboard? if yes, then the issue lies either in the system itself or in the way the cables from the front I/O were connected. include your full specifications with make and model of all parts, such as ram, psu, case, etc.
