HP site mentioned there were none but just in case.
I reinstalled the bios again and it rewrote all files on restart, making me feel like a new person.
Temperatures are around 52°C, average and 1% lower.
Core/Cache is -100mv, otherwise -50mv.
HP envy 15 cn0019tx.
I plan to disable services to speed up startup and adjust firewall permissions for better online latency.
Win11 is not great.
Synaptics touchpad hasn’t been fixed in 10 years but functions if updated.
Phone link, OOBE, razor updater, Widgets, "sync to receive blah blah", wireless LAN, movies & TV are all bothersome. I think they’re small services that consume CPU cache. I’ve been focused on L1 lately.
I installed Privoxy proxy and i2pd now, and I have 5x CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe running at 0%.
Defender scan freezes in some folders unless scanned individually. I’ll scan each folder separately, back it up, and reinstall Windows? (just joking, thanks Windows).
Does a mouse with low click latency indicate equally low axis latency?
enchilada

the pc was experiencing throttling due to a bios security configuration affecting fifr. possibly caused by an intel thermal framework issue or a software driver extension.

This advice was originally aimed at Windows 10, but it's now relevant after several years. The main point is that turning off and removing many features didn't significantly boost boot times or gaming performance on a fairly powerful system back then. It was more about starting from a standard setup rather than a custom one. Services usually use minimal RAM when functioning properly, and any CPU usage they have is likely due to the OS requesting resources unnecessarily. If a service keeps running constantly, it suggests there might be an issue.

I rely on a Microsoft tool named Autoruns. It helps turn off or remove services and startup entries. Extremely helpful when fixing issues.
