I recently assembled a gaming PC using PC Part Picker.com. Once everything was connected, I kept the BIOS in its default optimized setting and after installing Windows 11, it functioned properly by launching Overwatch 2, Civ 6, and Terraria via Steam. I installed Helldivers 2 and Lethal Company, but Helldivers 2 froze during the opening cinematic. To return to the desktop, I had to use alt-tab, right-click quit, stop the program in Steam, and then exit from Steam to shut down Helldivers 2. Restarting the PC was necessary to open Steam again. Lethal Company would launch into the Unity logo before freezing and stopping. Civ 6 also froze after loading from Steam.

I updated all drivers, reinstalled Windows, ran Memory Diagnostics, and searched for tips and tricks since I’m new to this situation. I’m really struggling and need help.

The 6800 paired with a midrange 550W PSU seems a bit ambitious... Could it be connected in a daisy chain above it? XFX suggests a 750W unit is more suitable for the card, which aligns with common advice for a Radeon 6800.
