A short while ago, my computer ran smoothly until a small spill from my drink landed on some parts. I shut it down right away, unplugged everything, and tried to clean it thoroughly to prevent damage. After 24 hours of drying, I restarted it and now it won’t boot. On the motherboard, the boot sequence shows CPU, VGA, and similar details, with a light indicating CPU. All connections seem correct, and I inspected the motherboard, CPU, and other components. I replaced the CPU and assumed my old one was faulty (now I have an AMD Ryzen 5 5500, while my previous model was an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G). I’m unsure what’s causing the issue and would appreciate advice and feedback.

Board status might be inactive. Using a 3200G suggests an older setup, so Ryzen 5000 may not fit. Please share your complete specifications.

Every motherboard running a 5500 requires a BIOS update. If the board supports BIOS flashback, use that option.
