This was my initial experience with a MGS game—you need to explore a region first and then quietly enter, but I just rushed in and attacked everyone.
The PC release of Mad Max impressed me a lot and sparked some interest in purchasing it. A few mechanics didn’t quite meet my expectations, but Act of Aggression looks promising as a strong RTS. I’m unlikely to find new titles for a while. I’m still working through The Binding of Isaac Rebirth and am eager for the Cities Skylines expansion. Tribes Ascend seems to be getting an update soon with promised future support. Some players have already returned, which is encouraging. Since I haven’t played multiplayer games in over two years, especially after TA 2, I’m unlikely to seek new releases anytime soon.
Battlefront has really dampened my enthusiasm by emphasizing what the game won’t offer instead of highlighting its strengths. It seems it might ultimately become a heavily simplified version of what could have been a great experience. Right now I’m mainly eyeing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Anno 2205, Dishonored 2, XCOM 2, and Mirror's Edge: Catalyst. It’s been a while since I could recall such a wide range of upcoming AAA titles that genuinely catch my attention. MGS:V and Mad Max are new releases, but without any official PC review codes for either, and the situation around MGS:V is unclear, the details aren’t ready for me to decide wisely. I’ll note that according to TB’s Port Report on Mad Max, it looks at least impressively polished.
I used to enjoy playing Sp games for a long time, but now I feel really eager to try something new.
Don't worry, but if I don't need to focus on my career, it's likely I won't.
This experience has been quite revealing. While I understand the film, the career path feels similar. Competing against AI can be frustrating because it behaves exactly as intended. Human connection and unexpected outcomes are what make multiplayer appealing to me—I’m eager to test my skills and see how you develop the stock cars!
Eagerly anticipating Anno 2205. No experience with Fallout titles, yet curious about the experience of Fallout 4.
