I usually feel really excited about Fallout around October, especially after playing through NV and checking the DLC. However, when I search for rumors about Fallout 5, I don’t find anything. It looks like the game might not exist or hasn’t been released yet. I came across some old info a couple of years ago, but I’m curious if anyone else has heard any news or is interested in it. This excitement usually comes from when 4 was released, which really sparked my passion.

According to what I learned, work began soon after the final DLC for FO3 was released (around 2009, which is about seven years in development). 07-26-2016, 02:42 PM #6Bethesda's schedule suggests Fallout 5 might not be released until TES 6. Assuming a year between now and then, it's unlikely to appear before 2022. Even if leaks exist, chances are they're not real.
