There are multiple lights bothering me.
Hi everyone, i'm starting to get frustrated while trying to sleep because there are now two lights connected to the pc that keep bothering me. Any suggestions for fixing them would be super helpful. First, my rgb mousepad has a usb connection directly to a usb port on my pc, but when i turn off the computer, it keeps shining (titanwolf mousepad). The other issue is my screen: when the pc is off, it sometimes shows a white screen with "no signal" for about every five minutes, which can be really annoying and happens often at night. Any assistance would mean a lot to me. Thank you all!
Power down the system, including the monitor. Verify the BIOS of the motherboard to ensure USB is disabled when the system is off.
xg2075 and my graphic card is a radeon 5500 XT, i'll try the BIOS thing now it should work yeah ty
Some makers refer to this capability by different names. Check your motherboard documentation to confirm availability. Don’t forget to configure your TV to sleep mode if it offers this option, and use that setting. When done, place a cap or similar object over the mouse when you’re finished for the night.
monitor shouldn't display the no signal message when connected to a PC? One possibility is the cable from your computer to the monitor might be loose. Turn off the monitor, reattach the cable at both ends, and power it on again. (This step doesn't apply if you're using a laptop or an AIO.) You might also need a different cable.
It could also be a similar model — see the link: https://www.stilus.ch/media/downloads/op...l_de_1.pdf.
You can adjust the display settings in the menu to change the source, but it should still detect the cable if plugged in.
Running a display size that the GPU can't handle is another option. I've seen this happen when trying to use a 4k monitor on a GTX 960, but that's not happening here.
