The story involves ongoing conflicts between the Nilfgaardian and Redanian factions, with allies available for the Kaer Morhen assault and support from Yennefer, who backs Nilfgaard. A Redanian leader is present, but the absence of tension is unclear.

This game has always had a purpose, even though Geralt stands alone and the others share a unified threat. That dynamic shifts focus from personal rivalries to the larger struggle against the wild hunt. Afterward, they can return to their usual conflicts, which is quite the twist on how stories mirror reality. Perhaps there’s a subtle nod to American policy somewhere in the design, but that’s just speculation.

Yennefer is solely focused on Yennefer herself. It fits her right now to appear aligned with the Nilfgaards. Introducing Letho to Kaer Morhen, unless you assume you spared him in W2, could lead to tension between him and Roche.

Essentially, everyone agreed. Geralt stays his own way. Want to explore different paths? You can rewatch the series.
