I've noticed a recurring issue with your dual monitors. It seems the connection between your Windows session and the secondary display isn't behaving as expected. Switching back to DisplayPort restores everything smoothly, but when you return to HDMI, the screen initially displays your Windows theme color before going black. After a brief freeze, the "device connected" sound plays and normal operation resumes. No hardware changes have been made. Could this be related to driver conflicts or display settings?

Consider Windows 11 and the newest driver updates. That’s what I can provide.

Absolutely in line with @cat_B0T_Gaming's advice. Consider these options next:
1. Check which monitor is being switched and test again
2. Try a different GPU port
3. Use a different DP cable
