Hi,
I have a fairly old desktop with a Phenom 945 x4 processor, 16 GB RAM, and an ASUS GTX 560 graphics card with 1 GB of memory. I still use it for rendering, but I face severe lag when playing YouTube videos. Vidéos don’t play smoothly, making it unwatchable. I attempted to disable hardware acceleration via 'chrome/flags', but that didn’t help.

Notably, the same computer works fine in Microsoft Edge.
I also have a newer laptop with an i5 2520 processor and integrated HD 3000 graphics, which doesn’t have this issue at all. Even though it’s newer than my desktop by two years, its performance is much lower, so it should be slower too.

Anyone know what could be causing this problem?
Thanks

If the solution fails, attempt reinstalling the graphics drivers using DDU in safe mode.
