Need assistance? I purchased the new 6750xt but it won’t start until I switch to my old graphics card for downloading the AMD driver. Once that’s done, it works fine, but I can’t access the BIOS on the motherboard. When I turn on my PC, it crashes with a black screen and won’t let me enter the BIOS. Even after pressing the BIOS button, it stays stuck on the black screen.

We require additional details about your setup, including the motherboard, CPU, and other components. Based on what I understand, there isn't a RX 7950 XT available; you have the RX 6950 XT, RX 7900 XT, RX 7900 XTX, and HD 7950. There are various models from XFX, but none matching the RX 7950 XT. Knowing the exact cards you own would be useful.

No onboard video support. I'm using a Ryzen 7 5800X 3D.

It's the XFX RX 6750xt with an MSI PRO Carbon x370 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU. Everything functions normally, but after uninstalling the AMD drivers, the GPU fails to load and the screen goes black upon restart. I need to reinstall my previous graphics card to access Windows for downloading the driver, then install the 6750 XT to use it. However, I can't access the motherboard BIOS even if I try.

Open the BIOS settings to see the boot mode configuration. The system appears to be configured for Legacy boot, though the 6750 XT doesn't support it. It's unclear why this setting is applied, but it might be due to a previous Windows installation carried over. Try turning off the CSM feature on your old card and test again.

I don't know... I installed the 6750xt on another PC too. Same issue. I won't post until I download and install the AMD driver to make it work, switch to a different GPU for Windows, and then it functions normally. Maybe the card has a defect.

The same configuration could be applied on the other system, particularly if it's an older model. It may actually stem from a faulty BIOS, but this resembles the hardware you're attempting to use—legacy mode (CSM enabled)—and the 6750 XT doesn't support legacy settings.
