I used to have an Xbox One X and downloaded a game, so I left the console. When I returned, the HDMI signal stopped working. I tried various HDMI cables and even followed Microsoft’s instructions, but nothing helped. Do you have any other options? Or should I take it to a repair shop?

Turn it off, disconnect it from the power source, let it sit for a while, then reconnect and attempt to activate it. Occasionally this resolves the issue.
