There was a short time when my controller adapter stopped working and needed to be disconnected and reconnected to restart it.

It doesn't require an adapter, it uses Bluetooth directly.

I removed the backplate from my laptop and disconnected one power cable from the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module. After reconnecting, everything is functioning properly.
