The X370GTN doesn't recognize your GPU.
I'm working on a new PC for college with the Biostar X370GTN. I encountered some problems and thought about checking if it could be the issue. After trying a few fixes, I added a small speaker to listen to the boot sounds. My current setup includes: Ryzen 5 3600, RX 480 8GB, 550W PSU, Ballistix Sport RAM (2667MHz, 8GB), and Ballistix Sport RAM (3200MHz, 8GB). With only the 2667MHz stick in the RAM slots, I heard eight beeps from the speaker, which suggests a faulty video adapter. I replaced the RX 480, unplugged it, and then reconnected it, but the beeps persisted. I'm wondering if the RX 480 isn't compatible with this motherboard and what might be causing it.
The year 1600 loads and appears in CPU-Z indicating the motherboard BIOS is current.
Re-examine the 3600 and verify absence of bent pins or damaged memory channels.
It looked like your GPU was the issue, so you switched to an older one and everything worked. Now your motherboard isn’t booting with two 8GB RAM sticks, even though they’re compatible. When you try to use the second slot, you get three beeps indicating a read/write error. Someone might need to check the RAM connections or try a different slot.
