The World War Z event ends abruptly.
The game starts. I have the option to join or be invited to a lobby and can pick my character and class. However, as soon as we load onto the map the game freezes and crashes. I’m running this on a 1440p ultrawide at medium settings, which seems to cause some instability. I’ve played the game once before, but that was prior to the latest update. The specs I have are: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz, Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 cooler ($47.65 on Amazon), ASRock Fatal1ty B450 motherboard ($158.11), Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB RAM ($68.99), Intel 660p 1.02 TB SSD ($75.69), and a Phanteks tower case. I also have an XFX RX 5700 graphics card and a SeaSonic power supply ($224.08). Total comes to $574.52, including shipping and taxes. I recently updated my GPU drivers and verified the game files via Steam—everything appears intact. Any suggestions? Edit: My 1 TB HDD and 1 TB SSD are missing from the list; they’re where my games are stored. I usually install them on a separate drive from Windows. The HDD is quite old, possibly dating back to 2013 or earlier, while the SSD is from a 2014 laptop.
