You need some hidden malware to keep Dying Light running at a low frame rate. Your 970 is superior to mine, and your CPU performs better for DL since it leaves many threads unused on my Xeon. By the way, how does your Firestrike rating compare?

Setting them to high or ultra causes around 99% GPU usage in TWC3 without VSync. It's really putting a lot of strain on the graphics card.

Novigrad and Oxenfurt require a lot of CPU power. I recently ran my 4690K at 4.6Ghz with 970SLI at full settings, achieving 1200p at around 60fps. Performance was stable except in those two cities. When I investigated, it appeared i7s outperformed i5s there. The best solutions are either exploring the area (frame drops were lower when running) or using fast travel from any mod to reach the nearest landmark in the cities.
