You're dealing with a Dell Latitude E5520 running Windows 10 Pro, but your Wi-Fi isn't working despite passing diagnostics. The support team from Dell told you it's out of warranty and asks for payment if you want repairs. Have others faced the same issue? Any tips to resolve this?

They confirmed it functions properly, yet it remains absent from Windows 10. The BISO acknowledges the issue is active but not currently accessible.

Windows 10 struggles with WiFi connections. This seems confirmed by several users here. I’d check for an older driver to see if a newer version fixes the problem. Additionally, I believe the updates for Windows 10 sometimes cause compatibility issues with certain WiFi adapters.

I discovered the wireless driver is the Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter, but it isn’t listed in Device Manager. If I locate it, I’m in for a win. I’m checking online now since Dell doesn’t have it on their site. I found it, installed it, but nothing changed. What’s going on? After running the UFEI Diagnostics, it appears Wireless and Bluetooth aren’t installed, possibly due to a faulty connection or needing replacement. I opened the laptop, removed and reinserted the card, and it now works perfectly—OS recognizes it and I can access the internet wirelessly. Updated March 22, 2018 by PlayBoyMan
