Hello everyone, I just started cleaning my PC and after an hour of work on the laptop, the wireless adapter stopped working (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi). I tried installing Intel drivers, but that didn’t help. I also reset the network settings, but the issue persisted. Could someone please assist me? I really need your help.

Which laptop model are you using? Which components were taken out? Is the WiFi card missing from Device Manager completely, or is there just a weak connection? Did you reconnect the antenna cables? (Be gentle with them—they’re delicate and only designed for a few dozen plug/unplug cycles.)

Hello, I don't handle cleaning it myself—it was a friend who works at a repair shop. Here’s the Device Manager info: the USB wireless driver seems to be for an external network card, and I’m using Rn.

It seems like the item is probably absent or incorrectly placed.

In Device Manager navigate to 'View' > 'Show hidden devices'. Check the Network Adapters section for any grayed entries. That should be your adapter. Locate the laptop and identify the device. Confirm it’s connected properly and the antennae are in place. Remove it carefully, ensuring you don’t harm the cables or connectors. Reinsert it firmly, secure it, and reattach the antenna connectors. Restart the laptop to verify detection by Windows. If issues persist, discuss with someone for advice.

Hi everyone, thanks for your message. I discovered a solution and managed to keep my laptop running until the battery was low before restarting it successfully.
