Hi! I just updated my PC and noticed Bluetooth isn't appearing in the quick access panel or device manager, even after checking "view hidden devices." I've tried installing new drivers for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapters, updated the BIOS, and rolled back the Windows update, but nothing worked. My PC model is a X670E Steel Legend. Any suggestions would be really helpful!

It occurred following a Windows update. Verify if the update affected critical system files using DISM and SFC. Execute DISM first, then SFC. A compromised file related to Bluetooth might be involved.

If it doesn't show up in Device Manager, it seems like the device isn't recognized as existing. Bluetooth is typically handled through a USB dongle or an internal connection via USB. If it uses a combo setup, there might be an extra wire linking it internally. Make sure that connection is intact. Also, try updating and installing the newest AMD chipset drivers to see if that resolves the issue.

You can undo the change and postpone it. The update messing things around isn't new.

Check if the device manager reports any USB controller or hub issues. Consider installing the Mediatek Inc. driver update for Bluetooth.
