Hello everyone! I'm facing an issue with my Windows 10 Home search function. It seems to work most of the time, but when I try to look for things I've installed—like 'controlpanel' or 'system information'—it doesn't show up at all. I've tried using the Index-properties method and other options, but nothing seems to help. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

You might want to check your program list instead and pin them to the start menu or taskbar for quicker access. Alternatively, you can utilize Explorer’s search feature to locate files within folders.

It's just that I have numerous programs, which makes things a bit of a headache... But they've all functioned well before, and they're really useful now.

It functioned properly on Windows 10 before. I didn't use the search feature in Windows 7 at all.

I believe it's easier to pin programs to your desktop or taskbar instead of searching each time. Having them there makes it simpler to find what you need. Personally, I do this and also make the most of multiple screens. One positive aspect of Windows now is that it supports this feature well, unlike Linux which has had it for a long time.
