I recently assembled my first PC and everything went smoothly—though it’s still sitting on my MOBO box. I’m having trouble installing Windows and haven’t found anyone who’s encountered the same problem. My build includes: Ryzen 5 7600, RX 7600 XT, MSI Pro B650M-A, WIFI, 32GB RAM. The issue: when I try to boot from USB, it shows the Windows logo, then a loading circle appears and then goes black again. I’ve tried various USB ports, used Rufus with Windows 10/11, and even reset the CMOS and re-flashed the BIOS (it’s set as first boot priority). Someone might have a better idea. Also, I’m considering using the GPU now since it arrived late and I don’t see much value in installing until Windows is ready.

It's fine. You can install Windows without the GPU once the problem is fixed. Make sure you verify the BIOS version your motherboard uses—it might require an update to run the Ryzen 5 7600. Just read through the manual for the steps to flash a new BIOS; it should be straightforward and take only a short time. Good luck!

Typically the simplest option is using the lowest supported version. This ensures your CPU runs smoothly with newer releases. A bigger issue may arise but could be simpler to fix. Verify your CPU compatibility with your BIOS (or update it). Once confirmed, proceed with RAM testing. Use a single stick first and run memtest86. Then test with the second stick. Check for errors on both; if either fails, replace them in another machine before installing Windows. If only one is faulty, consider swapping or returning both. Have a great day!
