The Windows 7 update process did not complete successfully.
I installed Windows 7 yesterday and downloaded the updates last night. After shutting down, I restarted and let the updates install for a few minutes. Then the system reported a configuration failure and asked for my password, which got stuck just before Windows loaded. I had to reset the computer. What went wrong?
How is that a helpful post? ------ Anyway are you able to boot fine after it reset? I am unsure if you are just asking what happened or if you mean it now wont get to desktop?
