The Windows 7 setup isn't locating the hard drive.
Hi, when you attempt to install Windows 7, the system fails to locate the desired hard drive. The drive appears in the BIOS but isn't recognized on another machine. What steps can you take to resolve this issue?
Launch the command prompt from the Windows install disk. Use DiskPart to clear the drive. Press Shift and f10 when prompted to choose the language, then open CMD. Enter "diskpart". Type "list disk" and select the appropriate disk. Input "clean". Proceed with the installation. Let us know if this doesn't work. Good luck!
It seems to be an outdated model. LGA 775 was a previous generation socket standard.
