The Windows 11 clock shows an earlier time than it should.
Hello guys !!
There is a little problem with the time/clock on my pc.
It's always some seconds ahead of the actual time.
I sync it 10 days ago and after 7 days it was 3 secs ahead and today it's 8 secs ahead, so it's 0.5-1 sec ahead per day.
Is it a battery problem ?? The motherboard is a gigabyte b550 aorus elite and I bought it exactly 3 years ago.
Can something else cause this problem ?? Software ?? The windows itself ??
Thanks in advance !!
You understand how it stays ahead of the actual time by comparing it to a reference point. To clarify, you should know what you're comparing it to and how you're making the adjustments. If needed, you can set your Windows time to sync whenever you wish. Launch the Task Scheduler, navigate to Time Synchronization task, and create a new task that updates the time as often as desired—such as at logon or every hour.
I compare it to this site
https://time.is
I didn't create a new one; I just updated the existing named "SynchronizeTime" by adding a "Trigger" (which was empty before) and I plan to sync the time at startup and then every hour.
I will keep an eye on the next few days to check if it works.
