Hi there, welcome to the forum! I see you're having trouble with your volume and media controls not working. It sounds like the issue might be related to a setting or feature that's been disabled. I'm not sure what's causing it, but I hope someone can help. If you need tips on how to fix it, just let me know!

Could you clarify if you're referring to updating or reverting your Windows version?

I attempted but it didn’t work. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the audio drivers, the banner remains hidden.

Interesting... You mentioned there are guides for disabling it. Review the instructions carefully but ignore any steps suggesting activation. Alternatively, consider using Windows Update Assistant to refresh all system files.

I attempted to update, but the system indicates I can't revert since the version was updated over 10 days ago. Have you resolved the issue?

I'll attempt... I was also checking if the restore feature can resolve the issue, but my worry is that selecting the "keep your files" option (I'm not sure if this is the correct translation) might remove all your applications.

I avoided using the restore option. Keeping all your files leaves everything except your C://users folders intact—Pictures, videos, documents, downloads, etc. The Upgrade Assistant simply swaps the files Windows requires to function. It maintains your personal files and applications. I tried it about a month ago because my PC wasn’t updating properly, and it confirmed my files stayed safe.

You might have a program installed that controls the volume bar in Windows. It's possible to disable it. For instance, ModernFlyout is available in the Store. If no such app exists, check your keyboard or mouse drivers—turning them off or removing them may restore the volume bar. Restart after uninstalling to test.
