Here’s a rephrased version of your message:

Hi, I've been having trouble updating my Windows 10 to the Anniversary update for a while now. Despite trying, I'm still stuck on build 1511 instead of 1607. The update keeps stopping at 0% and showing an error code. I've attached a screenshot of the error message. The code is 0xC1900101-0x2000C, indicating a failure during the safe installation phase with an issue in the APPLY_IMAGE step.

I've tried several things: uninstalling Bullguard AV, using a virtual clone drive (since it seems like a driver problem), installing everything via USB and disconnecting external devices except the DisplayPort and audio jacks. I also tried installing from a USB stick and running the W10 setup.exe from the C-drive. It starts but just hangs at 0% for hours, even overnight. After a hard reset, it reverts to build 1511.

I prefer having the latest update, but I've noticed in the logs that it tries to access something on the D-drive, which is my DVD drive and doesn't have anything. Could this be affecting the installation? Since it's in the rollback folder, I'm also checking the logs there. I've included both sets of logs.

My specs are: i7-4770K, 16GB RAM, GTX1080, W10 Home MSI Z-87-GD, 65GB SSD, OS-drive C-drive, 2TB HDDs (G and H), 1TB SSD J-drive, optical drive labeled D-Drive Asus Xonar D2. I've used the setup in Panther since 2017-02-19 21:12:39.

I'm a bit frustrated because some Windows updates require the newest version, and I'd rather just get an updated build. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Best,
