Video showing the issue with my ROG Zephyrus G14. It came with Windows 11, but I needed Windows 10. The installer freezes right when it tries to boot. I've used two different flash drives and tried Balena Etcher instead of Rufus, but neither worked—my computer didn't recognize the drives. I'm unsure what else to try.

If this model is the latest ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, it might not be compatible with Windows 10—the company doesn’t mention it on their support site. I recommend checking with the manufacturer to confirm compatibility before attempting installation.

I managed to get it running. I discovered another Windows installation USB that was sitting there. It seems this one has a different Windows 10 ISO installed on it, which means it probably uses the previous ISO version.

That’s questionable. At the lowest level, most code doesn’t support it, but technically any PC works with Windows, including Win95, and Linux too.

It's feasible if the hardware isn't recognized by the OS and no drivers exist.

Perhaps it's the NPU chip, that's the only idea that comes to mind.
