Right now I’m at 9 PM. My computer shows 2 PM, but I’ve set it to auto with the right timezone. When I look up the time for my area online, it gives the correct info, yet when I pick that timezone in Windows it doesn’t match. If I change it manually, sites and games will ask me to verify my settings. On Facebook, posts always show “posted 1 hour ago,” even if they’re hours old, unless they’re more than a day old—then it seems accurate. My date is right, so the problem isn’t there. Reinstalling Windows would be a big hassle since I only have one HDD and need to wipe it for a fresh setup. I’m already stressed because I’m on a tight budget, paying bills and living paycheck to paycheck. Medical expenses keep coming, and I can’t afford another hard drive just yet. This situation is really frustrating—I’m considering losing everything if I don’t fix it.

Verify the time settings in the UEFI/BIOS. Incorrect timing often leads to these problems more frequently.

Reinstalling isn't helping. I've had two systems with clocks always off by two hours. I can't recall which one. One fixed the problem after swapping the motherboard, but I sold the other, so I don't know what caused it. I never checked that on the systems that had the issue. It makes sense that updating the motherboard resolved it if the BIOS time was correct. If I knew the BIOS affected the OS, I'd have looked into it.

Adjust daylight saving automatically for your time zone. Fix the issue with Facebook messenger too. Used proper TimeZone settings. It worked for me. Make sure to verify daylight saving manually. Don’t reinstall Windows unless necessary—most problems come from third-party apps. Dentists handle tech differently, or else you’d face extreme troubleshooting.
