When I attempt to search in the WIN10 start menu, it either accepts my input and then crashes when I exit or displays a black screen with no action. To clarify, only the start menu and not the tiles—like the scrolling navigation—seems affected. The task manager shows SearchUI.exe is not running or unresponsive. I've tried several troubleshooting steps without success. Could you say if this looks like a malware issue or a boot problem? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

This appears to be unrelated to a keyboard issue since the content is being processed on the same machine with McAfee scanning active.
