Hello, I joined the forums to seek advice. My setup includes a Netgear ac1200 dual band Wi-Fi extender, which offers decent performance but isn’t fast. I also stream regularly and need a stable connection for game servers. I have an Xfinity Router at home with excellent speeds, but it doesn’t reach across the house. Do anyone have recommendations for a better extender or alternative options? I’m open to spending more if it improves the connection. Thank you!

Wi-Fi boosters are really unnecessary, opt for a Ubiquiti access point instead.

Connect via a wired link to your PC or the extender.

I connect via a wired link to the extender, but it's still insufficient.

Check the page at https://unifi-nanohd.ui.com for your connection details. What devices are you connecting from?
