Hello, your Asus PCE-AC55BT isn't fitting properly because the NZXT 500 case has a larger slot than expected. The bigger insert you have is too big, while the smaller one you received is too small. You might need to try a different case or contact the manufacturer for a compatible adapter.

Is this about the terminal at the end of the PCIe bracket? It should fit next to the board, not inside it. Which board are you connecting it to? Could you share a picture of the problem?

Are you certain it’s the correct placement and there’s nothing preventing it from entering? There’s no obstacle that should stop it from fitting in.

I'm trying to insert it into the slot on the GPU, but the metal piece isn't fitting. I removed the case slot to try and fit the card, but it didn't work.

The issue is with the tooth. It doesn’t fit properly in the slot at the back of the case when I take off the cover for the card. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z390 UD. I’m trying to capture a photo now but will do it tomorrow.

The bracket is designed straight, keeping the tooth securely within the case just like a graphics card bracket, while the PCIe covers are included with the case and attach to the exterior.

The card fits only in one direction, with the tooth pointing toward the back of the case. It doesn’t stay in place, and there’s no way to hold it securely. This is similar to your graphics card, which also has a matching tooth and works by going through the back and securing itself.

The tooth points toward the back of the enclosure. It remains straight here and moves slightly to the left past the mainboard. It's held in place by the PCIe port on the board and a screw in the housing.
