You're experiencing issues with your older build running games like R6 and HOTS. The problem seems to be loading quickly but then dropping, which can happen due to overheating or insufficient cooling. Check the temperature of your components and ensure proper airflow. Consider cleaning dust from fans and vents, or upgrading cooling if needed. Also, verify that your RAM is stable and not causing instability.

I’d begin by verifying that all your drivers are current, paying special attention to the motherboard’s internet drivers (unless you’re using a PCIe card for Ethernet).

You're running the software directly from the mainboard's slot, and the system is already current. Check for any additional settings or updates.

Switch your CPU right away since it’s causing a big slowdown. Do you have another PC available to test?

I only have an old computer that I've converted into a Linux server. The processor might be a bottleneck, but I'm not sure why this has been happening lately? It wasn't a slow process—it happened all at once overnight.

Hardware details aren't crucial when discussing network problems. What's your connection? Does this occur regularly or only at specific times? Are multiple users sharing the same network? Any additional signs of similar behavior? Such as slow site loading, buffering videos on YouTube and others?

I enjoy watching videos nonstop on my PC without any delays. The Wi-Fi tends to be unreliable in my neighborhood during busy times. My speed tests show a download speed of 180 and an upload speed of 22. What might be causing this issue?
