The white light appears on your screen due to a power supply issue.
White light appears on my monitor. An _ is visible on the screen. When I first set up my PC and powered it on, a white light came from the motherboard (refer to the photo). I spent an hour troubleshooting, suspecting the GTX1650 graphics card might be faulty. Eventually, I took the PC to a repair shop. Everything worked fine when connected to a new PSU, so I connected it myself. The power supply was functioning properly then. Recently, I purchased a Gigabyte 450W PSU and installed Windows. I was thrilled. After connecting the case and starting the PC, the same issue resurfaced. Please help!
Your system's diagnostic indicator likely signals an issue with the motherboard. Could you provide the specific model or brand?
It's a diagnostic light on the motherboard. If the PC fails to start up, it shows you the likely problem area. Typically there are four lights, each colored differently, pointing to CPU, memory, graphics, or boot issues. Refer to your motherboard's manual to identify which one is affected.
