Hello, I'm experiencing intermittent WHEA Logger 1 issues that don't always show up. It happens occasionally for short bursts then lingers for longer periods. It appears during gaming, while watching YouTube, or even when the system boots from the Windows lock screen.
System details:
- GPU: EVGA Nvidia RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra 10G
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800x
- Motherboard: MSI B550 Gaming Plus
- RAM: Corsair 3200MHz (2 x 16GB) CMK32GX4M2E3200C16
- PSU: Corsair RM1000x 2021 Version
What I've tried:
- Reset CMOS and updated BIOS
- Applied thermal paste, checked for overheating
- Replaced cables, swapped PSU with a known good unit
- Updated chipset, re-applied drivers (including older GPU versions)
- Ran Memtest86, swapped RAM sticks
- Used lower PBO Eco mode to see if it helped
- Adjusted Vcore and CMOS settings
- Tested with different RAM modules
Despite all these steps, the problem persists. I don't have another machine to test further. The latest error logged in the Event Viewer is:
