I discovered an unusual CPU with a shared Zen socket on Taobao in China. Anyone know its origin? Is it a rebranded model or a counterfeit? Would it be safe to purchase if it's cheaper than Ryzen?

It's essentially a Zen-inspired CPU developed through this collaboration, similar in essence to the Ryzen lineup.

IIRC they also have encryption extensions fiddled with to suit the chinese governement security requirements. That is, assuming it's a Hygon. Original pics not loading for me. Likely won't post in a normal AM4 mobo if it is AM4. I thought they were all BGA though.
