Hello everyone, I'm building a PC with new components and encountering an issue with the water cooler fitting my motherboard. The Nox Hummer H-240ARGB cooler (240mm, RGB) fits in my case with the motherboard, but I'm unsure about other models. Some suggest a 120mm cooler might not work due to the VRAM heatsink. I need to mount it on top since there are already three fans installed. If that's not possible, should I replace the existing fan with one from the cooler's VRM? Thanks for your advice! P.S. You can simply take out the fans at the front and put the radiator in place, which seems to be your main choice for water cooling at this point. It doesn't seem feasible to fit it in the top. You might be able to repurpose some of the front fans at the top if you prefer.
Your installation might affect the hot air flow. A glass front could influence ventilation if the WC isn't placed correctly.
Place fans at the top of the case where you planned to install the radiator. Your GPU will heat up more, so monitor it closely. Choose quality fans for the roof, ensure your PSU isn't drawing excess heat from the case, and remove the glass front panel if necessary. My setup has three glass panels and 16 fans (two for GPU, one for PSU). The glass panels are kept in a cabinet and all fans run at full speed. For me, airflow isn't an issue—just maximize the movement of air.
