I'm having trouble setting up Kali 2020.1 on VMWare Player. I downloaded it from the Offensive Security website but am unsure what steps to take to resolve the issue.

Consider re-downloading the file, as corruption can occur during the download. Alternatively, you can install the ISO directly on your VM.
