I've been attempting to use my new WMO 1.1 mouse all day, but it's not functioning properly. It's great that you haven't damaged any USB ports.

JohnBonhamsGhost explains the issue of overclocking the mouse, discussing DPI settings and polling rate adjustments. They mention trying to control the polling rate to avoid negative acceleration and using hidusbf, but encountering a problem with the driver signature enforcement not signing the .sys file.

based on what i've noticed, most people achieved this by overclocking a particular usb port. however, i recall complaints about it not working with certain mice or gamepads. do you think anyone still does it when modern gaming mice have customizable polling rates via proprietary software?
