After updating the motherboard, my USB 3.0 hub continues to keep the keyboard backlights active even after power-off. This issue happens with an MSI B550 Tomahawk model and a 5600x speed. I own a Z87 Sabertooth with a 4770k in another system, which turns off the keyboard when I shut down. I've checked disabling fast startup, adjusting USB suspend, modifying BIOS settings, and updated the BIOS—none resolved the problem. The hub is connected directly to the PC, not plugged in, so I need the distance it offers. The keyboard is a Logitech G710+ and I'm using Windows 10 64-bit. I'm using the black version of this hub.

I recall my PC behaving similarly, some USB ports stayed on after shutdown, and the same happened with my RGB mouse and laptop. Usually I just unplug them, though it doesn’t bothers me much since the brightness isn’t too high. It would be better to use a USB extension cord or a hub that lets you switch individual ports off, or simply wear a clean T-shirt to hide the LEDs.

They seem like temporary fixes. A proper solution should exist to make it work correctly, eliminating the need for constant adjustments.
