Hello, I own a Windows 11 desktop setup that’s always on. The monitor is programmed to power down after an hour of inactivity. It also has a USB hub built-in that links the mouse, keyboard, and other peripherals to the PC. When the monitor shuts off, the hub stops working too, so I can’t reactivate it by moving the mouse or typing on the keyboard. The monitor seems to wake up when connected directly to the PC—especially if used after it’s turned off. I checked the OSD settings but didn’t find a way to keep the USB ports active when the monitor is off. I also reviewed the power plan and USB Selective Suspend, thinking it might be related, though I’m not sure. Is there a solution I can try, or is this just a design limitation? I noticed other monitors let connected devices stay awake even when the screen is off. Thanks in advance for your guidance. Best regards, -a-

It seems like this will be a matter of monitoring the situation. Unless the maker updates the software to keep power on when the monitor is off, there’s little you can do—unless you’re lucky enough for a firmware change.
