The USB drive cannot start the Windows operating system.
I recently assembled a setup using a Ryzen 3900x processor. I purchased the retail edition of Windows 10, which included a USB stick and an installation key. Unfortunately, this version installed a Windows release from 2015 that causes significant compatibility problems with my Ryzen 9 3900x, resulting in crashes every two minutes and preventing updates to newer OS versions. I’m now attempting to install a fresh Windows build from another USB drive. While the drive appears capable of booting Windows, it consistently fails to locate necessary drivers during installation. I’ve tried the Windows Media Installer and Rufus, but neither resolved the issue. When the drive isn’t accessible, I booted from the retail version, which completed the installation quickly, leading me to suspect a hardware or compatibility flaw. The only concern I have is that the drive might be low-quality and unsuitable for stable Windows installation.
