The issue with your USB headphone amp not allowing the PC to sleep is likely due to its specific settings. I checked the Device Manager, but there doesn’t appear to be a power management option for it. Since other USB devices have such controls, you might need to adjust those settings manually or try a different USB port. Have you tried resetting the amp or checking its power source? Let me know if you want more guidance!

I believe this gadget depends on the PC's power supply, which might prevent it from entering sleep mode because it could require constant energy. To let the PC rest properly, you should disconnect the amplifier.

Attempting to relocate it to another port, though I'm sure it's not about the port itself since I faced the same problem on my previous PC before upgrading. Updated April 15, 2022 by Snugglebottom Double checked the ports

The amplifier operates independently with its own power source and lacks a shut-off switch, meaning I must disconnect it from the wall or computer each time I move away.

There’s no built-in feature in software to disregard a USB port or device during sleep mode.

I saw a piece about this and it could help: Press the Windows key + R to launch the Run dialog. ... After the Power Options window appears, select the Change plan settings option on the right. Click the “Change advanced power settings” link. Open “USB settings,” then go into “USB Selective suspend setting.” ... Press Apply to update your preferences.
