I recently set up Unreal Engine 4 and am experiencing significant delays every time I use it. It’s not simply lag; interactions often take 4 to 5 seconds to respond. This isn't the only issue either. Even initially, commands can be delayed by a similar amount of time, and pressing certain keys results in just a brief black screen.

I’m trying to understand what's causing these problems. Here are my system specifications:

* Intel Core i5-6400
* 16GB of RAM
* Nvidia GeForce RTX 590 with 8GB VRAM
* Latest AMD drivers (including optional updates)
* Windows 10 – an older version from around 2015/2016

Could Windows be the source of this issue, or perhaps my graphics driver? Initially, I suspected my CPU was struggling with Unreal Engine 4. However, a friend with identical hardware – an Intel Core i5 and a GTX 1060 with 8GB of RAM – runs the software without any problems. This problem seems specific to interactions involving menus, such as those found in File or Edit options. If I click on a simple element without any menus, it usually responds quickly after a slight delay.

User Question:

What’s the status of the drive it's on?
I don’t mind where it’s installed; I’ve set everything up correctly on my C drive. However, when I use my previous NVIDIA GTX 950 and Unreal Engine, it functions without problems. It’s not recognizing my AMD graphics card, and MSI isn't displaying the temperature or fan speed for my AMD GPU either. What’s causing this? Is it a hardware issue with the graphics card, or could it be related to the AMD driver?
