I recently changed my motherboard to try resolving some problems, but it didn’t fix the issue. It seems like a GPU problem is likely, though plugging in the monitors again hasn’t helped. Audio plays briefly before things go wrong. This behavior is unusual—I can’t reproduce it under normal conditions, even after stress testing (temperatures stayed between 50-60°C). My main concern is the GPU, but without a definitive answer, replacing the whole system feels like the safer option.
The GPU works, but the melted CableMod wire was the problem.
