Hello everyone, I've been pondering several issues about my PC's performance lately. Things like Cinebench low ratings, CrystalDisk metrics, and fake RAM concerns have popped up. That's why I chose this day for some benchmark testing... On Windows 7 because I wanted to check its compatibility with Kaby Lake and NVMe. It worked perfectly. Here are my findings: Test #1: My PC was showing low scores (890, 850) on Cinebench, thinking it was due to voltage issues. Actually, it wasn't. Test #2: I was wondering about fake RAM and its stability—looked up some guides and tested. Results showed P95 scores stayed consistent even after overnight testing, and no issues were found. Test #3: My NVMe drive was also struggling on CD6. I installed Windows 7 on an old SATA SSD and tested the M.2 device without Windows. Everything functioned normally for a Z270 chipset. I just wanted to share what happened and hear your thoughts if you have any questions.
It seems we just need to tweak Win10 settings by turning off unnecessary components. I'm also facing some problems and it's unclear if the issue lies with Win10 itself. My slow SSD writes slower than my 5400RPM HDD, and the OS sometimes freezes during games—especially when rendering with GPU and CPU under heavier loads. Even with the default CPU and reduced RAM, MemTest86 ran smoothly for seven hours at 3400MHz; now it's running at 2800MHz to see if freezing occurs.
The taskbar program next to the network icon might be handling this action. It could also be related to a fake RAM setup.
Samsung Magician runs completely without any software installed. After completing the setup and adding the required drivers, even the GPU driver is still absent.
It seems intriguing. When my PC froze during games, swapping RAM resolved the issue. It's unclear if this is related to my system but I'm uncertain. The SSD has a write speed slower than a 5400 RPM!?!? I'm not sure, but perhaps check for available SATA drivers for your motherboard. Alternatively, try using a different device, installing Windows there, and running benchmarks. Testing on hardware you don't use at the moment can provide clearer insights.
