I encountered an issue when moving big files (like videos over a gigabyte) from a USB drive to my PC. The system reported insufficient memory, saying "not genügend Arbeitsspeicher." This seems incorrect because my PC has 32GB RAM and my laptop 16GB, and the files are only about 1.5GB each. The SanDisk 64GB drive is fine. I was trying to back up family videos, so changing the drive didn’t help. I felt worried everything might be lost. I tested different computers, ports, and speeds but kept getting the same error. After checking the registry and reading forums, it wasn’t working. I thought maybe the USB overheated during transfers over 100MB/s, so I looked for slower transfer methods. Eventually, I found FastCopy, which lets you control speed, and that fixed the problem. I transferred everything at half speed, which worked. I also tried full speed but it crashed. The overheating was probably just a guess. If anyone else has a similar issue, please share—this would help! TL;DR: Slow down your USB transfers, especially over high speeds, and consider using FastCopy.

It would be better to move at a reduced pace or avoid copying everything in one go. Transferring in stages 2 or 3, handling several files simultaneously is recommended. The system can manage multiple streams without straining the connection.

Despite attempting to copy just a single file of roughly 1.5gb, the process failed and returned the identical error.
