Windows 7 works well, but Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 are more efficient. Windows 10 may track your activity, so be aware.

It really doesn't matter, I’d choose version 8 or 7. But Win 7 has that bothersome warning that keeps popping up and complains about "not enough resources, turn it off for me and that." As for Win 10... it’s up to you if you want it. Anyway, I personally prefer Win 7 the most... though I really dislike that annoying message.
