I think QVL is often overrated, but RAM compatibility could be an issue, with a low probability.

I'm not sure. I experience occasional freezes when using low power settings, which continue through a completely new build that began after installing this 32GB unit. It could be an issue with the hardware that memtest doesn't detect (as it does in low power modes) or it might simply be that Kingston's dimming technology isn't worth the internal components inside the poor cooling system. They don't even specify the chip manufacturer in CPU-z, only listing Kingston. I'm planning to test a 32GB model on my QVL (Patriot Viper).
