Windows Defender for Windows 8, Avast, AVG, Avira. I favor Windows Defender since I don’t want the constant ads and pop-ups that other antivirus software often include.

I rely on MSE and Malwarebytes free together, which works well. My older commonsense version from 2014 remains fairly sufficient too.
