I’m expecting a forklift job this summer, so I thought it’d be smart to get a realistic simulator. Since you already have a G27, you’re in a good position to explore options that match its capabilities.

Is this real? If it is, then what have you been up to lately? I feel like I should relive this moment. Just to clarify, there’s a game available on Steam and a site at that address: http://www.forkliftsimulator.com/.

Without the right controls, it's hard to understand the benefits.

I wouldn't be concerned. My experience with a forklift gig took me roughly an hour to feel confident. Handling pallets 20 feet high and weighing over 1000lbs was manageable. The process is straightforward—make one adjustment at a time. If you're not prone to accidents, you'll get the hang of it quickly. Mastering the 4:05–4:15 segment is key to preventing pallet damage or sudden movements. This video breaks down the essentials of operating a forklift.

It would be ideal if your workplace supports after-hours training. I've noticed that smaller sims often have sluggish or unresponsive controls. The farming simulator and harvester seem like solid options, as they both rely on rear wheels for movement.

I think a forklift simulator isn't really helpful for mastering real forklift operation. It's likely the most practical option.
